Dandelions have long been regarded as a common weed but in recent years it has been classified as a superfood, packed full of vitamins, minerals and triterpenoids. Dandelion leaves are rich in calcium which is essential for shell development and can help prevent detrimental moulting issues such as the white ring of death. High levels of vitamin C and K help with collagen synthesis to ensure strong cartilage development, strengthening the connective tissue between the shell. Dandelion leaves also help with digestion and increase the absorption rate of vitamins and minerals, greatly boosting the immune system of freshwater aquarium shrimp.

Our dandelion leaves can be enjoyed by bottom feeders and other aquarium invertebrates.

Our Natures Nibbles dried dandelion leaves will help naturally enhance the colour of shrimp. However, the colour enhancement will only happen if the colour is pre-existing.
