Men's Summit Series Breithorn Jacket
Down Jackets · Summit Series · 800-Fill ProDown™

Athlete Tested. Expedition Proven.™ It might look like a puffer, but the Breithorn has been put to the test in some of the harshest conditions on earth. Adapted to the high alpine as a flexible mid layer or as an uncompromising outer layer, it thrives no matter where you take it. With highly compressible, water-repellent 800-fill ProDown™, you can move lighter and faster through the mountains or the daily elements. Engineered for mobility. Cut for precision.

Slim Fit
Slim, athletic cut through the body and sleeves for a low-bulk layer that moves with you under a shell or on its own
800-Fill ProDown™
800-fill ProDown™ is natural down insulation enhanced with a hydrophobic finish that allows it to dry faster than untreated down after exposure to moisture
Pertex® Y Fuse Shell
Pertex® Y Fuse fabric construction increases downproof and water-beading properties of the shell, keeping insulation lofted and drier in damp conditions
Non-PFC DWR Finish
Non-PFC durable water-repellent finish sheds light precipitation so the ripstop shell doesn't saturate during alpine approaches
Recycled Nylon Body
Body fabric made with recycled nylon, delivering featherweight strength while diverting waste from landfills
Insulated CF Zip
Exposed #3 YKK® VISLON® center front zip paired with an insulated internal draft flap to seal out wind at the chest
Mobility Sleeves
Raglan sleeves and underarm gussets allow full arms-up mobility for climbing, reaching, and high-stepping on technical terrain
Secure Pocket Array
Chest pocket and hand pockets with exposed water-resistant reverse-coil zips keep essentials secure and protected from the elements
Stows in Hand Pocket
Packs into its own left hand pocket for compact stowage in a pack or harness when the layer isn't needed
Internal Drop-In Pockets
Two large internal drop-in pockets sized for skins, gloves, a beanie, or climbing snacks without the bulk of zip closures
Stretch-Knit Cuffs
Stretch-knit cuffs sit close to the wrist for warmth and seal in heat without bulk over gloves or under shell sleeves
Single-Point Hem Cinch
Internal hem cinch-cord with a single-point adjustment seals out drafts and lets you tune the fit on the fly

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a down-specific cleaner. Close all zippers and turn the jacket inside out to protect the Pertex® shell and ProDown™ loft.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat with two clean tennis balls or dryer balls to break up down clumps and restore full loft. Drying can take 2–3 cycles; ensure the jacket is fully dry before storage to prevent mildew and odor.
DWR Refresh
Refresh the non-PFC DWR finish on the shell and lining periodically with a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment to keep precipitation beading up on the surface.
Storage
Store uncompressed in a cool, dry place on a wide hanger. Avoid long-term compression in a stuff sack, which can damage the ProDown™ loft over time.
Repairs
Small tears in the recycled nylon ripstop can be patched with tenacious tape or sent to a TNF repair center. Address damage early so insulation doesn't escape.
